How do the Libertine Rewards Earning & Gift Redemption Periods work?
Libertine Rewards operates on an annual cycle, allowing members to earn Rewards Points throughout the year and redeem complimentary Gift Boxes during two dedicated Gift Redemption Periods.
Understanding how the Rewards Year works will help you track your progress, know when your membership level is assessed and when you can redeem your Rewards.
What is the Libertine Rewards Year?
Each Libertine Rewards Year runs from 2 March to 1 March (inclusive).
During this time, Rewards Points accumulate on eligible purchases and determine your membership level.
What are the Earning Periods?
The Rewards Year is divided into two Earning Periods.
Throughout each Earning Period, you'll continue earning Rewards Points from eligible purchases. Your total Rewards Points determine whether you've qualified for Explorer, Connoisseur, Curator or Privé.
For the current Rewards Year (Year 3), the Earning Periods are:
Earning Period 1: 2 March 2026 – 30 August 2026
Earning Period 2: 31 August 2026 – 1 March 2027
What are the Gift Redemption Periods?
At the end of each Earning Period, Libertine holds a 14-day Gift Redemption Period.
If you've qualified for a membership level, you'll receive an email containing:
Your Gift Redemption Code (for online redemption)
Your Redemption Barcode (for in-store redemption)
Instructions on how to redeem your complimentary Gift Box
For the current Rewards Year (Year 3), the Gift Redemption Periods are:
Gift Redemption Period 1: 14 September 2026 – 27 September 2026
Gift Redemption Period 2: 15 March 2027 – 28 March 2027
When is my membership level assessed?
Your membership level is assessed at the conclusion of each Earning Period based on the total Rewards Points you've earned during the current Libertine Rewards Year.
Rewards Points earned during Earning Period 1 continue into Earning Period 2, allowing you to keep building towards a higher membership level before the Rewards Year ends.
If you've qualified for a membership level, you'll receive your Gift Redemption invitation at the beginning of the corresponding Gift Redemption Period.
When do my Rewards Points reset?
Your Rewards Points continue accumulating throughout both Earning Periods and reset to 0 at the beginning of each new Libertine Rewards Year on 2 March.
This annual reset does not affect any Gift Redemption invitations you've already received for the completed Rewards Year.
